When RMC Education asked me to create and lead an SEO strategy, I started by studying their competitors and the industry. I looked for content gaps and ways to improve. I developed short-term and long-term plans. In the short term, we revamped and redesigned the website, created a better site structure and URLs, and updated existing content with thorough on-page SEO and technical fixes.
For the long-term plan, we researched new keywords related to universities and countries to attract more users. Our goal was to have RMC Education appear in Google search results for any terms related to their services. We created around 800-1000 landing pages targeting different universities and country-specific keywords. By filling content gaps and optimizing these pages with on-page SEO, we greatly expanded their reach.
We didn't stop at on-page optimization. We listed RMC Education on many local directories and built backlinks from high-authority websites targeting our chosen keywords. By boosting the site's authority and credibility, we improved its rankings in search results. This link-building and off-page SEO strategy helped drive more organic traffic and strengthened their position against competitors.
The significant growth in organic traffic and conversions reduced RMC Education's need for paid ads. They saved money on advertising and saw increased revenue.
