By making these improvements, we made the content more relevant to search queries, which helped Legalpad's pages rank higher in search results.
To avoid issues with duplicate pages and technical errors, we implemented self-canonicalization. This tells search engines which version of a page is the main one to index. By doing this, we reduced the risk of duplicate content penalties and ensured that the correct pages appeared in search results.
